Open a window or bring your iPhone closer to where drops land — a windowsill, an umbrella or a metal roof work best. Raise “Drop sensitivity” in Settings or with the slider during a session. Heavy wind noise can mask small drops.

Run “Calibrate speaker and microphone” in Settings in a quiet room. It teaches the app how its own music sounds to the microphone. In headphones this never happens — and the sound is cleaner too.

Yes. Choose Studio Rain for recorded rain scenes that run through the same live detector, or Finger Rain to make drops by tapping the screen. A dripping tap or fingers on a table also work with the microphone.

Open the étude in the Archive and tap “Play with another ensemble”. The same drops are re-orchestrated; you can switch back to the original at any time.

Open the étude and tap “Stories video” for a vertical video, or “Audio” for the music file. Both open the standard iOS share sheet.

Calls interrupt audio on iPhone. When the call ends the session resumes; if it can’t, your étude is kept up to that moment.
